  I was referred here by an optical place not too long ago and the way they made it seem was that I would be taken care of. I've been going to optometrists since I was 11 years old and the reason I changed is because I lived in Oakville and now in Mississauga so it's easier for me to have my optometrist in Mississauga. The minute I walked in for my appointment there was a family that was looking at eyeglasses from Lisa Lo. I thought nothing of it, but I was rushed because she wanted to get back to her sale. I was wearing contacts and had asked her receptionist for a place to put my contacts as my previous eyeglasses were broken which is why I was there in the first place. The receptionist was not friendly and bothered by the fact I requested to use their products for placement of my contacts, which my previous optometrist never gave me a hassle for and actually gave me samples when I left her office. My left eye was very irritated and she said it could be from outside sources such as allergies or irritants. I actually found weeks later that it was a broken piece of contact. I also misplaced my prescription and called to faxed and they said I would have to physically come in to pick it up which is not fair at all. No apologies about it, basically too bad on my part for my mishandling. I would've loved a reason as to why which I know is medical but just to hear it would've been nice and more understandable. Currently thinking of going all the way to Oakville to my prior optometrist as she took her time and didn't make me feel like a burden to her time like Lisa Lo did.
