  I was with them for condo insurance a few years ago. No issues when calling them for quotes, but after I signed up and paid; they didn't call me back after leaving 2 voicemails and when I actually reached someone; the rep sounded really irritated and was passive-aggressive. From my understanding, they have a secretary/switchboard person when you call who will decide which salesperson they will transfer you to. If you tell them it's not for a potential sale, you will probably go automatically to voicemail. They don't have any line or contact for anything else in terms of questions on existing policies or even simple maintenance like updating your personal info. In fact, if you don't call, you can't ensure sending an email is answered as per their disclaimer on their website "IMPORTANT: Atrens-Counsel Insurance Brokers Inc. welcomes your comments and inquiries; however, please note that we cannot guarantee the delivery and/or retrieval time of electronic documents such as e-mail or fax. Sending a message by e-mail and/or fax does not constitute the binding, changing, or termination of coverage. All additions, deletions and changes to coverage must be confirmed with a licensed broker verbally or in writing." While their condo quotes are competitive, I ended up going with one of the big 5 institutions as they at least have a call centre where you can speak to someone.
